INTERPRETATION

Interpreters work with the spoken word and serve as mediators who use their abilities, capabilities, knowledge and mental agility to verbally translate speeches, talks, discourses, and conversations from a source language into a target language, based on their full comprehension of both cultures, and high-level ethics.


We offer the following interpretation services
CONFERENCE OR SIMULTANEOUS INTERPRETATION that needs a sound system, earphones, microphones, and an interpretation booth. Two interpreters sit inside the booth, listen to the speaker in the source language and simultaneously interpret into the target language which the audience hears with their earphones. The interpreters work as a team and take turns interpreting every 30 minutes given the complexity and level of concentration required. Interpretation booths are set up for all required language pairs.

Ideal for: conferences, training programs, presentations, talks, symposiums and more.

CONSECUTIVE INTERPRETATION.There’s no need for an interpretation booth since the interpreter stays close to the speaker to takes notes of the speech and reproduce the message in the target language when the speaker pauses. This process is repeated until the speech is over. Since it doubles the time, it is commonly used for short talks and discourses.

Ideal for: press conferences, political addresses, interviews, presentations, and corporate meetings.

WHISPERING is recommended for a maximum of three people who do not understand the speaker’s language. The interpreter is next to or behind those listening to the speaker while transmitting the message to them in a low tone. No sound equipment is needed.

Ideal for: guided visits to companies or industrial plants, work meetings, small presentations, and roundtables among others.

BILATERAL: used for a meeting or conversation between two people who speak different languages. Each speaker can bring their own interpreter or have one interpreter for both.

Ideal for: interviews, meetings, negotiations, state visits, and cultural events.

ACCOMPANYING INTERPRETER: the interpreter goes with a person or small group of people to different places.

Ideal for: tours, business meetings, doctor’s visits, and assistance with procedures.

SIGHT INTERPRETATION: the interpreter translates a document from the source language by reading it out loud in the target language.

Ideal for: bulletins, newsletters, statements, and notices.

TRANSLATION


Translators are linguistic mediators who work with any form of the written word. They analyze a given text and performs meticulous research to translate it in a natural and accurate way to the target language. A translator’s knowledge of editing, layout and IT features helps him work with any given format.

SUBTITLING

Are you thinking about expanding your company or business to another country or population in your country? We will help you expand and reach out to your foreign customers! Our specialists work with movies, documentaries, commercials, and instructional videos among others. Subtitling consists of summarizing the original audio by extracting the main ideas, then translating them into the target language and turning it into a text that will appear on the screen while listening to the original audio. We send you the file so your editor can add it to the video. If you want us to do the editing, we need to know it in advance.
